For heat therapy: Wrap the gel pads in a moist paper towel or cloth. Microwave at 15-second intervals until they reach a comfortable temperature. Place them inside the cotton cover and apply to your breasts for 20 minutes before breastfeeding or pumping. Do not use while breastfeeding or pumping.

For cold relief: Remove the cotton cover and store the gel pads in the freezer. When needed, remove them from the freezer and run under cold water to make them flexible. After drying, place them inside the cotton covers, and apply to your breasts.

Bonus: These gel pads can also be used as a heat pack to warm your baby's bedding, relieve period pain, or soothe body aches. As a cool pack, they can help with injuries like bee stings and swelling, sprains, and can even be used to massage your cheeks and tired eyes.
